I grew up watching my Nani get dressed with extraordinary care.To her, dressing wasn’t just about clothing. It was about how you showed up in the world.The fall of the fabric. The elegance of the silhouette. The quiet confidence it created. Every detail was intentional. Without realizing it then, she planted the first seed of my love for beautiful clothing.
Years later, after living abroad, I returned to India and stepped back into a life filled with celebrations — weddings, festivals, family gatherings, and social occasions where everyone knew everyone. And like many women, I often found myself standing in front of my wardrobe thinking: “I have nothing to wear.” Not because my wardrobe was empty. But because most options seemed to fall into two extremes. On one side were extravagant designer outfits — stunning, but often reserved for the biggest celebrations. On the other side were mass-produced clothes that felt ordinary and forgettable. There was very little in between. Nothing that felt refined enough for a celebration, yet versatile enough to wear and love again and again. That frustration stayed with me.So I decided to create what I couldn’t find.
