Dry Clean
Professional dry clean recommended. Choose an experienced cleaner for embroidered ethnic wear and inform them about the embellishments for proper care.
Ironing
Iron on reverse side only, with a thin cotton cloth between the iron and fabric. Use silk setting (low heat). For embroidered areas, steam from a distance instead never press directly.
Storage
Fold loosely and wrap in a clean muslin cloth. Store flat- never on a hanger. Add a few neem leaves or lavender sachets. Re-fold every season to prevent permanent crease lines.
Emergency Stain Fix
Blot stains with a damp white cloth—do not rub. For oil stains, apply cornstarch for 30 minutes, then brush off gently. For tough stains, use a dry cleaner within 24 hours.
